Web Assignment 5: “News from Russia”

I would like you to report on what is making political or economic news in Russia these days. Go the web (try Yahoo), get linked to a newspaper (in English, unless you can read Russian!!) from Russia, and note what two major stories are. A brief analysis of the stories would be sufficient. What do these news items say about life in the new Russia?
