210 Module Overview

Module 9 contains the following content – all original by author or contained in the Lumen textbook.

Textbook Reading – Chapter 9

Discussion Forum:

This discussion will be based on the textbook reading for the chapter.  For your initial post in this discussion please answer the following questions: “Out of all the Russian kings listed in the textbook readings for this module, who do you think did the best job?  Which king has the most accomplishments or the best policies?  Cite specific examples from the textbook reading to support your answer.”

Initial posts must be at least 200 words in length and have at least one quote from the textbook.

After posting your initial post you are required to reply to at least one other student.  Replies must be at least 100 words in length and have at least one new quote from the textbook (not a quote you used in your initial post and not a quote that is in the post you are replying to).

All posts must be made by the deadline for the discussion forum to receive full credit.

Short Essay:

Submit your short essay for Module #9 here.  The question for this essay is: “Why do you think Russia had so many violent upheavals over their history?  What do you think accounts for all the violent conflicts between different kings within Russia and between Russia and outside invaders?”

This essay must be at least 500 words in length and have at least one quote from the textbook to receive full credit.
