Textbook Reading – Chapter 3
Discussion forum:
This discussion will be based on the textbook reading for the chapter. For your initial post in this discussion please answer the following questions: “Comparing these civilizations in Africa and the Americas, what factors do you see in common? Based on these civilizations, what factors do you think are most important to building a thriving civilization and why?”

Submit your short essay for Module #3 here. The question for this essay is: “Discuss the rise and fall of Carthage. Why do you think Carthage became a powerful civilization? What were their main sources of wealth? Why did Carthage collapse as a civilization?” This essay must be at least 500 words in length and have at least one quote from the textbook to recieve full credit.
