Now that we’re discussing Duchamp, let’s re-watch this video that we saw earlier. This video is a conversation with Sal Khan & Steven Zucker about regarding the artist, Duchamp, and the art movement, Dada, examining art as a concept.

The only definition of “readymade” published under the name of Marcel Duchamp (“MD” to be precise) [is found] in Breton and Eluard’s Dictionnaire abrégé du Surréalisme: “an ordinary object elevated to the dignity of a work of art by the mere choice of an artist.”
