About this Module:

This Module deals with the arcane world of markets- supply and demand. In this Module you are asked to:

Read Chapters 3 and 5

• do questions taken from Chapters 3 and 5(Written Assignment)

• do Web Assignments about the beer tax and air travel (please do both)

• take Exam 1 based on Chapters 3 and 5

If you have taken Macroeconomics, you may be familiar with some of the work in this Module. In Microeconomics, we look at some new concepts, such as elasticity, consumer surplus, etc.
