Describe the role that education plays in shaping values and beliefs, and compare educational practices around the world.

• Discuss educational differences around the world and distinguish between formal and informal education, providing examples of each.
• Identify and discuss historical and contemporary issues in education and distinguish between manifest function and latent function and provide an example of each
